C.C.M.A. Current news

As we meet the challenges of what lies ahead and the cold hard reality of the general decline of interest in Country Music, we must face the fact that changes are in order within our organization. This year we will produce One large State–Wide Competition and Award Show in the Adult Division. Temporarily Regional Competition and Award Show will be put on hold. Until things improve our choice is to bring our organization, it’s members and artists together as one, and deal within our strengths while continuing to fulfill our purpose and goals. Please bear with us through these changing times and the necessity to reshape our course of direction. We need your support, participation and acceptance. The Adult Competition and Award Show will scheduled in October. Rules for both the Adult and Youth Award Show and Competition will be revised and written to be clearly understood then posted in this newsletter

Youth Division news Good news for the Youthful artists of the C.C.M.A. All youth members will be allowed to compete for the state awards, it won’t be necessary to hold regional competitions. Also we will add new categories to included Youth Bands, and Youth being back by adult players individually and with their back up bands. (Do I hear some cheering going on)?

Dancers We have categories that you can win awards in. Let us know who you are and we’ll send along some info. We could also use some input. Were with you all.
